What is the process of starting therapy?

Please contact me via phone at 212.652.2216, submit an email through my contact page. We will then set up a phone call (approximately 10-15 minutes) to learn more about why you are seeking services and to determine if we’re a good fit for each other. We may then schedule a 90-minute initial consultation session to learn more about you, identify goals for treatment, and discuss my recommendations.

Do you take Insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance. Many insurance plans, however, provide reimbursement for therapy, so you should check your out-of-network benefits. I can then provide you with monthly statements with the necessary information for possible reimbursement from your insurance provider or flexible spending plan.

How can I learn what my insurance covers?

To use your out of network benefits, please call your insurance company and ask

  • Do I have coverage for out-of-network mental health outpatient visits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • What percentage of therapy fees are covered? CPT codes include: consultation 90791.90, individual therapy 90834, and group therapy 90853

  • How many visits are covered in a calendar year?

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, checks and credit cards.

What is your cancellation policy?

A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel your appointment. If you do not cancel your appointment at least 48 hours ahead of time or do not show for your appointment, you will be charged for the cost of service.  Please note that insurance companies do not typically reimburse for no show or late cancellation appointments.
